You will graduate with a real idea of what lies behind any successful organisation – how it is financed and managed.

• You’ll be able to connect with leading accounting firms thanks to our Partners in Accountancy scheme. The Partners in Accountancy firms will offer accountancy and finance students direct input to their studies from leading case studies on technical and professional areas and providing careers support.
• In your third year we’ll give you the opportunity to take a placement year that could see you employed in a graduate level position in an organisation.

Placements

The course offers an optional one-year (48 weeks) work placement after the second year, in the UK or abroad. This paid position provides the opportunity for further personal development and to see accountancy and finance in action, helping you develop the knowledge and skills obtained on the course.

Our Placement Office works with national and international employers to ensure excellent work experience opportunities are available to you on placement courses as well as giving advice in areas such as interview skills and preparing CVs and covering letters.
