Our course can give you the chance to gain the knowledge and skills to work in this fascinating and rewarding sector with business acumen. All of us look forward to our travels but we don’t often think about what goes on behind the scenes, the processes, systems and activities that mean we are able to travel and to enjoy ourselves while we’re away from home. This course is designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of business management applied to the international tourism industry. The business of tourism takes place in an exciting and fast-paced environment, at the forefront of innovation, yet moulded by ethical concerns. This course allows you to explore such dynamics from a business and practical perspective..

Placements

The course offers an optional one-year (48 weeks) work placement after the second year, in the UK or abroad.

Our Placement Office works with national and international employers to ensure excellent work experience opportunities are available to you on placement courses as well as giving advice in areas such as interview skills and preparing CVs and covering letters.
