Through engaging with film making, current affairs and mass communication, you will begin to develop critical thinking, communication and problem solving skills that are essential for further study and future employment.
The foundation year will equip you with a desirable range of skills, which are later developed upon in our level four courses. The course will advance your ability to articulate your ideas in a variety of audio-visual and written formats.
Upon successful completion of the Foundation Year you will automatically progress onto one of the following degree courses:
BA (Hons) Film and Television Studies
BA (Hons) Film and TV Production
BA (Hons) Journalism and English Literature
BA (Hons) Mass Communication with Advertising
BA (Hons) Mass Communication with Business
The foundation year has been designed to provide a seamless transition onto one of our level four courses outlined in the Course Overview, and so you will have a focus on subject-specific modules that will ensure optimal preparation for your upcoming course.
