In mathematics, you will deepen your understanding of pure mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics.
These constituent disciplines complement each other in providing better insight about economic theories from a more advanced mathematical angle. In addition to subject specific knowledge, this degree helps develop a range of generic skills including critical and analytical thinking, advanced numeracy, writing and presentation skills, that find practical application in a range of careers. Our graduates find employment in a variety of places, such as the public sector (Government Economic Service and local authorities), businesses, financial institutions and NGOs.
