Music Production and Business at Keele aims to equip you with a portfolio of skills so you can achieve your career ambitions in the music industry or in creative industries. Taught by internationally recognised staff with a range of specialisms, you will develop knowledge in sound recording, audio design, digital sampling and programming. You will also explore mixing, mastering, producing sound and theoretical debates about management to understand contemporary business issues and cases. There will be opportunities to work individually and collaboratively and to deliver inspiring projects under the guidance of supportive tutors.

As a Music Production and Sound Design graduate you will be ideally placed for employment in, or further training for, many different directions within the creative industries. This may include sound recording, music production, game audio, audio streaming, and broadcasting. You will develop the skills and experience for a future in the public arts, teaching, postgraduate studies, and academia. We provide opportunities to gain work experience, either through standalone modules in years 2 and 3, and through our work placement year option.
