    Both advertising and marketing continue to play a big part in everyday life, and recent advancements in digital technology and social media allow for new and exciting ways to attract and engage customers at any time and in any place.

    This course, which currently benefits from EFMD programme accreditation* and is part of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Graduate Gateway** programme, is aimed at students with an interest in advertising and marketing from the creative to the analytical – whether that is advertising and branding, consumer behaviour, digital and social media marketing, or new product development and market research. It provides an opportunity to gain a solid foundation in marketing and advertising, with a specific focus on marketing communications across different media and contexts.

    When studying this course, you will have the opportunity to work in our DigiComm Lab, which has been designed for marketing students, and is equipped with industry standard marketing and advertising software, to allow you to explore how to put the theories you are being taught into practice.

    Our previous graduates have gone on to a range of careers in marketing, advertising, PR, brand management, marketing research, digital marketing, sales and general management, working for organisations such as IBM, Hewlett Packard, Rolls Royce, Procter and Gamble, Jaguar Land Rover, Silverstone, McCann Erickson, Volkswagen, South African Airlines, Millward Brown and Chime Communications.
