The BA (Hons) Business with English is designed for students whose first language is not English. The programme allows students the opportunity to explore a range of business topics designed to enable them to understand and develop the skills needed to work for a business operating in a global context.

The programme is made up of three main streams of academic thought: Management, Marketing, and Business English. During the programme students can develop knowledge, understanding, and capability in key business functions.

Students also study modules in English language designed to develop skills not only in communication, but also in negotiation. The programme aims to prepare students for a career in international business and to increase their geographical mobility.

This course is designed to prepare graduates for careers in diverse areas of business around the world.  Possible career paths include recruitment consultant, operations manager, international wealth adviser, business analyst, business development manager, translator, to name but a few.  Others may continue their studies at postgraduate level.
