Just like pharmacologists in the workplace, the practical   approaches you’ll be learning with us focus on the discovery and science of drugs and how they impact living systems and combat disease.

As well as giving you loads of practical experience, you’ll get an extra qualification recognised by industry and backed by the UK Government to address the shortage of pharmacological expertise.

In Year Three you can take a work placement to put your knowledge into practice. You’ll get a Diploma in Professional Practice which strengthens your employability after graduation. Many students impress their employers on placement and are offered jobs at the end of their course.

Our graduates usually seek research and development positions in the pharmaceutical and related industries including universities and hospitals.

They also work in non-laboratory based activities such as:

• clinical trials
• regulatory affairs
• marketing.

• ITH Pharma – technical assistant.

Graduate salaries range from £16,000 - £30,000 per year.
