This NSCA-recognised course includes undertaking a detailed needs-analysis of a variety of high performance sports and athletes, implementing testing procedures and designing periodised training and rehabilitation programmes.

It’s delivered by a team of expert, UKSCA-accredited staff who are experienced S&C specialists. Early in the course you’ll be supported to undertake the new UKSCA Trainer Award, for which we are a pilot site, and which is a step towards the full UKSCA Accreditation. An industry placement is an option with providers such as Bristol Bears, Worcester Warriors, Gloucestershire County Cricket, Cheltenham Town FC and Kings School, Gloucester.

Classes take place in specialist spaces including the strength and conditioning suite, sport and exercise laboratories, state of the art sports arena and park, and new for September 2021, a multidisciplinary rehabilitation suite.

Graduates from this course can go on to work as:

• Strength and Conditioning Coach
• Conditioning and Rehabilitation Practitioner
• Data Analyst in Sport.
