Careers

Accredited by the BPS, this course will be widely recognised by employers in many fields. Our degree will prepare you well for working in a range of careers such as management, personnel, social work or working in public services.  As it carries professional accreditation by the BPS, it will be particularly helpful should you wish to follow a career in Clinical or Counselling psychology. Within 6 months of completing their course, 95% of our students are employed in a professional or managerial position. There was insufficient data to publish information specifically for this course. This is either because the course size is small or respondent numbers were low. Therefore, the data displayed is for all students in counselling, psychotherapy and occupational therapy.

This degree will also provide a basis for postgraduate studies for professional or academic careers in Psychology as they all require communication skills. 

Course accreditation

This course is accredited by the British Psychological Society, so when you graduate with at least a Second Class Honours, you are eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartership, the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist.
