UK20 MMus Performance (Work-Based Learning) University of West London

  • THÔNG TIN CHUNG

While this course focuses on developing your performance skills while you work, it will also equip you with a breadth of skills and information that will help to advance your career in music. You will have the opportunity to study different performance styles and experiment to develop your own.

Whether you are an instrumentalist, music teacher, composer or conductor, you will be able to supplement your studies in performance with more precise skills that are related to specialist areas. The core modules are complemented by theoretical and practical options, of which you can choose three. These optional modules are designed to keep the course as relevant to your areas of interest as possible.

The London College of Music (LCM) has a prime location at the epicentre of the UK’s music and media businesses. This puts us in an ideal position to help you gain the skills and contacts you need to thrive as a professional performer.

The nature of LCM is collaborative and community-minded, and you will have the advantage of participating in our weekly Postgraduate Research Seminars and Composition Workshops. These provide great opportunities for you to learn new skills and network with postgraduate students from other courses. You can also participate in our large ensembles, which include LCM Sinfonia, LCM Big Band, LCM Choir and LCM Glee Choir.
