On our one-year Project Management MSc you’ll learn how to apply project management principles across a range of disciplines and business sectors, from fashion and film to the charity sector; from the sciences to working in government. We’ll equip you with practical tools and skills, plus an understanding of the academic theories underpinning them, to set you up on your future career path.

We place a strong emphasis on the scientific and technological revolutions underway and the process of technological convergence, which have had a major impact on both the older established engineering industries and the younger electronics, wireless, computer, media and creative industries and internet-based start-ups.

These industry connections have informed the content and design of the course, in a way that will not only build on your existing knowledge and experience, but increase your chances of finding employment at a salary level higher than the graduate national average wage in your chosen sector

The nature of the role gives you the flexibility to oversee the completion of a project in any sector or industry. Roles in Project Management can vary and are not limited to professionals who oversee the completion of a project.

It will be your role as the project manager to take ownership for a specific aspect of a project, making sure it’s delivered to all stakeholders’ satisfaction, individuals who provide detailed knowledge on a specific project discipline and those who provide professional support services to a range of projects.
