The Diploma of Commerce is designed to prepare you for the challenges of the global business environment. Commerce students study foundation areas of accounting, economics, business law, management, marketing and technology. Through specialised study in your chosen major at Curtin University, you will gain the theoretical and practical skills you need to be confident and industry-ready when you graduate.

Throughout the course, emphasis is placed on decision-making processes and other major aspects of management in the highly competitive business arena. After completing the Diploma of Commerce, you can choose from a range of single or double majors from the Bachelor of Commerce.

Note: Students progressing from Diploma of Commerce to Bachelor of Commerce double major in Management and Human Resource Management are required to complete one additional unit (four months). 

- Stage 1:

• Year 11 with minimum average 6. Or
• Academic IELTS of 5.5 overall with minimum 5.0 in each band, or equivalent

• Year 12 with minimum average 6. Or
• Academic IELTS of 6.0 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent
