Lincoln University's Certificate in University Studies is a unique qualification that prepares students for further study, leading them into a degree programme. Taught over one semester you will learn language, writing and study skills in preparation for further study as well as communication and technology, mathematics, economics and environments, within the context of a specialist land-based university. On successful completion you can transfer to the Diploma in University Studies and on to a bachelor's degree.

The Certificate in University Studies can be completed fully online through new enhanced online courses. The online courses are:
LUAC 001 - Language and Writing for Tertiary Study   
LUAC 002 - Mathematics and Statistics for Tertiary Study 1   
LUAC 003 - Communication and Information Technology   
LUAC 004 - Environments, Economies and Numeracies
LUAC 014 - Te Tū-Ā-Uri: Introduction to Māori Culture and Society

One of the following:
• 58 NCEA credits at Level 2 or higher (including 30 credits over three approved subjects plus UE literacy and numeracy)
