AU49 Graduate Certificate in International Hotel Management International College of Hotel Management (ICHM)
The Graduate Certificate In International Hotel Management is comprised of four subjects; two of which focus on two major operational areas - the Food & Beverage and Accommodation Departments. These subjects allow students to develop the skills and knowledge to manage these areas and the resulting guest experience. The later two, introduce the interdisciplinary nature of hotel management; through the study of Hospitality Management Accounting and Marketing. Providing students with an understanding of key financial indicators leading to the profitability of an international hospitality business; and an insight into the factors contributing the models of consumer behaviour that from the service and product expectations from international hotel guests.
The Graduate Certificate in International Hotel Management course is designed to provide opportunities for participants to develop and enhance knowledge, skills and understanding to undertake lower management level positions in international hotels. Whilst the course focus is on international hotels, it also equips participants with knowledge and skills to undertake career paths in other areas of the international tourism and hospitality industry.
This six-month course is embedded within the twelve-month Graduate Diploma in International Hotel Management. The twelve-month Graduate Diploma is nested within the two-year Master of International Hotel Management.
