AU39 Bachelor of Sport & Recreation Management - Bachelor of Communications & Media University of Notre Dame Australia (Perth campus)
In particular, this program is designed to give you the skills to manage recreation and sporting organisations and staff, and to adapt and thrive in environments of rapid and pervasive economic, social and technological change. You will also learn how to manage an individual sporting and recreational agenda and, more broadly, how to oversee the community’s sport and recreational facilities and resources.
As part of our commitment to the delivery of ethical and practical knowledge, students are required to complete six industry practicum courses totalling 350 hours over the span of their degree. This provides students with valuable insights into sport and recreation industries, an opportunity for skills development and a chance to build networks within the industry.
By completing a degree in Communications & Media along with Sport & Recreation Management you will complement your management skills with the ability to communicate using a variety of platforms to reach a wide and diverse audience. The Bachelor of Communications & Media lets you explore the principles and techniques of communications and media by examining and creating print, non-print and multimedia texts, using traditional and new and emerging media technologies. You can tailor the program to meet your particular interest by majoring in Journalism, Film and Screen Production or Photography.
