This course provides an opportunity for engineering graduates from other fields to develop the fundamental specialist knowledge to pursue career opportunities in the oil and gas industry, both in Australia and internationally.
The oil and gas, and related upstream and downstream processing industry, requires skills of the range provided in the course. Petroleum engineers work in a range of industry sectors, often related to oil and gas exploration, drilling and well completion, reservoir study, and hydrocarbon production from underground reservoirs.
