    JCU Master of Public Health graduates are equipped with specialist knowledge and skills and are employed in a wide range of settings within the health sector as well as in broader sectors outside of health.

    MPH graduates find employment in local government agencies, state health departments and other state government areas, commonwealth health departments, non-government organisations, research organisations and academic organisations.

    Graduates work in a range of roles that include community development, health education, health promotion, environmental health, control and management of communicable diseases, promotion of healthy lifestyles, control of chronic diseases, injury prevention, disaster response, public health management, advocacy, policy, research and academia. Some graduates work clinically but embrace opportunities to embed a public health approach within their work.
