THÔNG TIN CHUNG
This course is designed to prepare educators, family members, practitioners, integration aides and everyone working or related to people on the Autism spectrum, to gain an invaluable in-depth understanding of the challenges and strengths, and how to respond utilising the person first perspective. Using co-constructed content and individualised learning perspectives, this course requires you to reflect deeply upon the important voice of lived experience and seeing the individual as a person first.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
- Apply a ‘person first’ perspective to analyse and problem solve issues and challenges
- Identify and critically analyse biases, prejudices and assumptions associated with Autism in society and educational practice
- Demonstrate specialised knowledge of Autism theory
