The Bachelor of Photography (Honours) is a full-time or part-time program designed to enable students who have demonstrated substantial ability at an undergraduate level, to develop their practical expertise and theoretical understanding to a more advanced level.

The University's Bachelor Honours Degree (AQF Level 8) Policy will apply.

To be eligible for admission to this Honours program, consideration will be given to the following criteria:

• have achieved a GPA of at least 5.0 in the studio major components of second and third year of the Bachelor of Photography degree (a candidate whose achievement falls below this level may apply for special consideration);
• have recommended one suitable supervisor who may be available and willing to facilitate the student's project requirements;
• prospective students must confirm prior to application that their chosen project can be conducted within the appropriate concentration area (that is, check the availability of resources, supervision etc);
• must submit a proposal outlining the nature of the Research Project that they wish to undertake.
