Information technology (IT) is fast-paced, challenging and dynamic. The Bachelor of Information Technology (Co-op) has been developed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in this growth industry.
Completing this course will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of a variety of key areas in IT and computer-based systems. The course includes an industry placement, typically of three months duration, following the successful completion of half of your course study, where you will gain real-world and hands-on experience within the industry.
Benefit from the flexibility to major in Application Development, Business Analysis or Cyber Security, and choose from an extensive range of elective courses so you can tailor your studies to suit your personal and professional needs.
You can also fast track your studies, by studying units in Term 3, so you can start your career sooner.
You may choose to exit the degree early after completing a number of units and graduate with an Associate Degree of Information Technology or Diploma of Information and Communications Technology.
