The CQUniversity's Bachelor of Business is an innovative course that builds foundational and management skills by undertaking 16 units of business and eight specialisation units or minor in several business areas. The course is designed for students who are planning a career in business and management in diverse organisations. The course provides you with relevant skills, knowledge and attributes to apply the skills at the workforce. Assessments in the course relate to workplace case studies and scenarios that will engage you with contemporary challenges of businesses. The flexible delivery of the course will enable you to undertake study in face-to-face and online mode. Also, the course will provide you with membership pathways to professional bodies, ensuring that upon completion of the course, you receive recognition for the skills and knowledge in your chosen profession. A work integrated learning (WIL) option and overseas exchange program is available within the course that incorporate professional work placement and overseas study experience.

Internships & Placements

Work placements provide students with experience in a professional environment relevant to their study discipline. Students reflect and report upon a range of factors related to the placement experience. Work readiness is enhanced as students apply the knowledge and skills acquired through study to the work environment. Students will secure and undertake an approved work placement for at least 20 hours per week for a duration of approximately 12 weeks. The placement may require relocation of accommodation to suit the employment.
