AU11 Master of Psychology (Clinical) University of New South Wales
The Master of Psychology (Clinical) has a theoretical orientation towards experimental empiricism and a scientist-practitioner model for clinical training. There is an emphasis on cognitive-behavioural approaches to the understanding and management of clinical programs. Your learning in this two-year degree will focus on adult, adolescent and child clinical psychology as well as neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation. In addition to the coursework you will complete a research thesis, in the form of a scholarly journal article, on a topic relevant to clinical or abnormal psychology.

This is an APAC-accredited 5th and 6th year sequence of study in Psychology. This program is the third (final) step on the pathway to becoming a registered professional psychologist (Psychology Board of Australia). Completion of this program can also lead to full membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Associate Membership of the relevant APS College.
