The Bachelor of Clinical Science combines a broad education in the different branches of biomedical science with knowledge of social sciences. During your clinical science studies you will develop the skills to independently derive evidence-based decisions that will inform health and medical practitioners to deliver the best possible care to patients.

Choose your own path
A clinical science degree with Charles Sturt University gives you the flexibility to transfer or to apply for entry into undergraduate or graduate-level health or allied health programs such as medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, pharmacy, midwifery, paramedicine and radiology, subject to specific university entry requirements. Extracurricular activities are also offered to prepare you for UCAT, GAMSAT and multiple mini interviews (MMIs).
More than science
Our clinical science course equips you with skills and knowledge relating to rural and remote clinical practice, as well as standard practice including an understanding of the factors affecting the health of rural and remote communities. Throughout the course, you will develop and hone your interdisciplinary communication and teamwork skills which will provide the foundation you need for employment in numerous public health and research areas.
With the Bachelor of Clinical Science under your belt, you will be ready to jump into a variety of employment opportunities in the health and medical research sectors.
