The major in Resource and Environmental Management is designed for students seeking careers as environmental scientists and natural resource managers who will be able to meet the sustainability challenges and opportunities of this century. It is structured around a core of natural and social sciences courses, and links that set of knowledge and skills with a range of applications in environmental conservation and sustainable resource management. The major in Resource and Environmental Management emphasises experiential and field based learning, and combines broadly based environmental education with focused professional development and opportunities for specialisation.
