Through this course you'll receive a comprehensive grounding in theory and application of data science. You'll also gain the ability to apply these skills to real problems in a given application area.
Through project work, you'll experience the full lifecycle from design of interactive visualization to experimental evaluation of an advanced visualization approach.

A 2:1 BSc honours degree, or international equivalent, in:
- computer science
- mathematics
- statistics
- an engineering discipline with programming experience
Applicants with lower or non-standard qualifications and relevant industrial experience will be considered on an individual basis.
Compulsory question
As part of the application process, you are required to submit a 500-word answer to the following question, ‘Discuss the ethical and societal implications of an aspect of Data Science’.
