You'll learn from experts working at the forefront of astrophysics, from exploring dark energy to the early universe. You study modules based on the latest research, from quantum mechanics to particle physics. You have opportunities to work alongside our world-leading faculty on ground-breaking discoveries. This is through your final year project and various research placement opportunities. During your integrated Masters year you develop advanced physical skills by working with a departmental research group.

You’ll have all your practical sessions in our modern teaching laboratories. Outside the classroom, you can study or catch up with your friends in our popular student spaces.
