Entry into the programme is by application only. The number of students accepted into the programme is limited, and short-listed applicants are interviewed in November.
The Postgraduate Diploma in the Practice of Psychology is designed to meet the requirements for registration as a psychologist under the Health Practitioners Competency Assurance (HPCA) Act.

Entry to the PGDipPracPsych is subject to the approval of the Chairperson of the School, subject to the availability of a suitable academic supervisor and having completed a suitable Masters degree in Behaviour Analysis or Community Psychology eg. MAppPsy.
You must be working (paid or unpaid) in a relevant area of psychology in an organisation which provides you with the opportunity to practice significantly in the relevant specialisation. This requirement will be determined by the Chairperson of the School from the candidate’s job description.
