Community Health Care ensures skilled and qualified people are able to meet the growing need for community health workers to support other health professionals as care is moved into the community.
Graduates will contribute to the health and well-being of individuals and communities through the understanding of humans in health and disease, and of the health care system, and the application of skills to co-ordinate and manage health care for individuals.
Graduates will be equipped with knowledge to be able to enter the health workforce directly, in multiple roles such as case management.
GPA of 8.0 or better in the upper secondary education graduation diploma (on completion of year 12) at a school for the gifted students.
