Work on the frontline of 21st century healthcare. You will learn how to work with a range of innovative imaging technologies including small mobile X-ray machines and larger units such as MRI and CT scanners, as well as sophisticated cardiac units to enable accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.

Learn from expert academics to work closely with radiologists and use a range of modalities to provide images and data for the diagnosis and treatment of injury or disease. You will develop the skills and knowledge to produce and analyse the images and data generated to determine whether diagnostically adequate and appropriate for radiological interpretation. 

The Master of Diagnostic Radiography is accredited by the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia and is an approved program of study, with conditions, for general registration.

"Diagnostic Radiographer" is a protected title in Australia. Graduates of diagnostic radiography programs are required to register with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.

The current registration conditions for this degree program require graduates to complete a program of supervised practice to be eligible for general registration

Members of the public may make a notification to the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) about the conduct, health or performance of a practitioner or the health of a student enrolled in this degree program.

Practitioners, employers and education providers are all mandated by law to report notifiable conduct relating to a registered practitioner or student.
