If you are an engineering graduate seeking to achieve a higher qualification,  the Graduate Diploma in Engineering offers the opportunity to study several areas of engineering.

Elective subjects can be taken in engineering areas such as;

• automation and manufacturing systems
• biomedical engineering
• chemical and biomolecular engineering
• civil engineering
• electrical engineering
• sustainability and environmental engineering
• geomechanical engineering
• power engineering
• structural engineering
• telecommunications engineering
• risk management

You can undertake this course full time over one year or part-time over two years. The graduate diploma builds on the foundation of the graduate certificate. You may count coursework you undertake in the graduate diploma towards the requirements for the Master of Engineering.

Graduates will have completed a major component of the higher levels of specialisation necessary to excel in their chosen field. This can be used for intermediate level career advancement or as a measure of a graduate's ability to undertake further study and achieve completion of the full master's degree outcomes.
