Study of the brain and nervous system is one of the largest and fastest growing endeavours of the biological sciences, and is a research strength at the University of Sydney. A major in Neuroscience will provide you with a foundation in the biology of the brain and the fundamentals of cognition.
You will have the opportunity to learn from researchers in the University's Brain and Mind Centre, and Charles Perkins Centre.
This major will equip you to join the rapidly expanding field of global research activity in neuroscience, a discipline which is seeing translation in a number of exciting areas, for example in the fields of engineering, computation, economics and business, and education.
