As an honours student, you will become part of a thriving community of world-class researchers within the Sydney Nursing School as you develop the expertise and practical skills to produce a written thesis of 10,000-15,000 words. An additional year of study, the honours program is available to meritorious students who have completed a Bachelor of Nursing qualification.

Who is honours for?
The program is designed for students who have successfully completed a Bachelor of Nursing and are looking to enhance their critical thinking skills. It allows students to investigate an idea that can improve the practice of nursing and the lives of patients, and opens the door to future research.
