    This degree will provide you with knowledge and skills in management and marketing systems for real estate practice.

    You will gain an understanding of agency and property management, planning and property economics, as well as real estate law, investment and development for a career as a real estate agent or property manager in residential, commercial and industrial property.

    You will also learn how to make effective and strategic business decisions, and start to develop skills in entrepreneurship to understand the importance of competitive edge in business.

    Employers look for graduates who can apply theory to real industry challenges. During your degree you will have the opportunity to attend networking events designed to connect you with experienced industry professionals. As a graduate, you may also be eligible to seek registration as a land agent, sales representative or property manager with Consumer Business Services.

    What you'll learn

    The degree starts with core courses in business. These will give you a solid grasp of business fundamentals such as economics, accounting and business law. 

    You will then study specialised areas with a focus on marketing and entrepreneurship, including:

    • real estate business and marketing management
    • property law and economics
    • real estate investment and development
    • enterprise design and value creation

    You will also be able to use your electives to complete a minor in marketing to complement your real estate practice studies. This will allow you to gain expertise in consumer behaviour, advertising, digital marketing, branding and marketing analytics.

    • Sales and leasing consultant: developing and implementing sales and leasing proposals for commercial land and property; negotiating lease and sales transactions; generate listings and service existing client sales
