• The Graduate Diploma in Computer Science is designed for applicants with a bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology (or a related field). There are other ways to meet admission requirements – see Program Details.
• Complete eight courses from a huge range of options. Courses cover topics relevant to advanced computer science, programming, information and communication systems, and more. In total there are nearly 50 courses to choose from.
• Benefit from a program that offers a flexible study plan. Because the Graduate Diploma in Computer Science has such a large number of courses to choose from, you can tailor your studies to suit your interests, your industry, or your career goals.
• Choose to progress to the 24-unit Master of Computer Science on completion. Because courses in the graduate diploma are taken from the master's course list, you can transfer study credits to the higher-level program.

The Graduate Diploma in Computer Science equips students with advanced-level knowledge and skills in relevant areas, such as information systems, software engineering, distributed systems, networks, research and security.

Many of our graduates use their qualifications as a way of moving ahead with their careers – whatever field they work in – or use the graduate diploma as a stepping-stone to the Master of Computer Science, which has a more comprehensive study plan and offers greater professional opportunities.
