• This six-month program is suitable for those with an approved degree in any discipline, or post-secondary study and / or relevant work experience – see Program Details.
• Develop practical knowledge and experience in writing and editing across all genres, including academic papers, business documents, fiction, non-fiction, reviews, and more.
• Tailor your experience to suit your aspirations and choose to specialise in professional or creative writing, or undertake coursework that covers both fields.
• Graduate with a standalone qualification, or use your Graduate Certificate as a pathway to one of the higher level master's program.

Approved degree in any discipline; or

Post-secondary study and/or relevant work experience.

Relevant professional experience may include work experience in government departments, office management, corporate communications, administration, journalism, and public relations, among others. The work experience should demonstrate that the written word has been a major component of the work day. Unless otherwise stated, the minimum amount of relevant work experience is 2 years full-time equivalent (either paid or voluntary), with documented evidence (such as references).
