Sociology will teach you how to look at the world in new ways. Sociologists are interested in every aspect of human social life, including how we are shaped by forces like education, socio-economic status, religion, gender, and ethnicity. They critically analyse the causes and consequences of social problems, and provide arguments about possible reasons for inequality – and how to address them. As a student in the Sociology major, you'll study key concepts and perspectives in sociology, along with research methods.
