Whether you're interested in the French language because it's one of the major diplomatic languages, or simply because you like how it sounds, you need to understand something about France and French-speaking people. Courses in this major cover language skills and offer knowledge about some of the major historical, cultural, social, literary and philosophical movements in the Francophone world.
