In this degree you will learn the foundation disciplines of bioinformatics, which includes biology (biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics), computing (algorithms, databases and programming), mathematics and statistics. You will gain the skills to design and implement software for activities such as identifying the genes affected in specific cancer types.
