The Master of Veterinary Public Health (MVPH) provides practical education and training. As an existing veterinarian, animal scientist or animal health worker, it will prepare you so you can contribute effectively in animal disease responses, both in Australia and internationally.
THE WORLD NEEDS CRITICAL RESPONSE SPECIALISTS
Recent emergency diseases events have required the support of veterinarians, scientists and animal health professionals. Some of these events have including the emergences of Hendra, Nipah, SARS and highly pathogenic avian influenza viruses.
FLEXIBLE LEARNING - STUDY ONLINE
This program has been tailored to suit experienced full time animal health professionals. The first two weeks of the program is provided as a residential module based at Melbourne’s Parkville Campus, with the remainder of the course offered as online distance education.
Flexible part-time study allows you to manage the time devoted to study, whilst remaining in full-time employment.

The Master of Veterinary Public Health is developed in partnership with the CSIRO’s Australian Animal Health Laboratory and the Victorian Department of Primary Industries.
