The journalist of the future will play a crucial role in society by scrutinising and holding to account those in power, shedding light on systemic failings, and finding the truth. You will work with award-winning journalists and academics with outstanding industry links, achieve expert skills in research and reporting in print, digital, radio and video, and explore the media's evolving role in society.

Entry level 1 - 2 years

• An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with at least credit (60%) average, or equivalent qualification or experience approved by the faculty

Entry level 2 - 1.5 years

• An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline including humanities or social sciences with at least credit (60%) average, or equivalent qualification or experience approved by the faculty; OR
• An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) and an Australian graduate certificate (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline including humanities or social sciences with at least credit (60%) average in both qualifications, or equivalent qualification or experience approved by the faculty

Entry level 3 - 1 year

• An Australian undergraduate honours degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline including humanities or social sciences with at least credit (60%) average, or equivalent qualification or experience approved by the faculty.
