    The Master of Banking and Finance is a comprehensive master's degree that will give you a thorough understanding of the banking and finance industry.

    Graduates typically find work in banks, insurance companies or other institutional settings, in both Australia an internationally.

    Entry level 1 - 2 years

    • An Australian bachelor degree (or equivalent) and achieved a weighted average mark (WAM) of 60 or an equivalent grade point average (GPA) as determined by the faculty. Applicants will be ranked and selected based on their entire academic record.

    Entry level 2 -  1.5 years full-time

    • An Australian undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline with a WAM of 60, or qualifications/experience or satisfactory substitute that the faculty consider to be equivalent; OR
    • An Australian graduate certificate (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline with a WAM of 60, or qualifications/experience or satisfactory substitute that the faculty consider to be equivalent; OR
    • A four-year Australian undergraduate honours degree (or equivalent) with a WAM of 60 or qualification/experience or satisfactory substitute that the faculty considers to be equivalent.

    Entry level 3 -  1 year full-time

    • An Australian undergraduate honours degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline with a WAM of 60, or qualification/experience or a satisfactory substitute that the faculty considers to be equivalent, which has not been used as a basis for entry to another course within the Monash Business School.
