The Diploma of Arts Media and Communications at the College will introduce you to the fundamental concepts in arts, media and communication, including digital media, media practice and production, critical thinking and modes of communication.

It is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. If you successfully complete the diploma, you can choose from a number of undergraduate degrees and progress directly into the second year without losing any time.

The course is for students who have completed Year 12 and are close to meeting the academic and English language requirements for direct entry into a Macquarie undergraduate degree.

• have a qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12 with an ATAR of 60
