UOW's Bachelor of Creative Arts - Bachelor of Computer Science double degree is designed for students who are interested in developing artistic works using computer software. This combination enables you to acquire specialist knowledge and skills across the continually changing landscape of information communication and technology (ICT), as well as applying technical skills in design, visual communications and multimedia. Your high-level programming skills can be applied across a wide range of applications and you will learn how the structure of data plays an important role in delivering solutions to complex problems in a creative way. Through your reading, practice-based subjects and your own research you will attain a broader understanding of the digital world in which we live.

What you will study
The Bachelor of Creative Arts involves the study of theory and practice-based work in the following major study areas: Creative Writing, Music (including Music Technology), Visual Arts or Visual Arts and Design.
Find your strengths and interests in Computer Science as you study the fundamentals of computer science and IT: programming, problem-solving, network and communications, web technology, data management, system analysis, human-computer interaction, and project management Choose a major in your second year in Big Data, Cyber Security, Digital Systems Security, Game and Mobile Development or Software Engineering. In your final year, you will develop your own application as part of an annual student team project, developing solutions to real-world problems provided by our industry partners.
