    A Masters in Finance from the Australian National University equips graduates with the necessary skills to excel in the global financial marketplace.     Learning Outcomes

    1. Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of corporate finance, securities trading, investments, portfolio construction, derivative pricing and risk management.
    2. Recognise, understand and apply finance theory to company valuation.
    3. Demonstrate a critical awareness of current issues in finance which is informed by leading edge research and practices in the field.
    4. Demonstrate the ability to conduct financial research, acquiring and analysing financial information.
    5. Work independently and collaboratively to collect, process, interpret and communicate the outcomes of financial problems.

     

  • ĐIỀU KIỆN ĐẦU VÀO

    At a minimum, all applicants must meet program-specific academic/non-academic requirements, and English language requirements. Admission to most ANU programs is on a competitive basis. Therefore, meeting all admission requirements does not automatically guarantee entry. 

    • Applicants must present a Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 5.0/7.0
    • Or an ANU Graduate Certificate of Finance and Actuarial Statistics (Finance Specialisation) with a minimum GPA of 4.5/7.0

    Students must achieve a minimum 60% weighted average mark in the initial component to continue to the concluding component. Students who do not achieve a minimum of 60% weighted average mark in the initial component will be transferred to the Master of Applied Finance.

    • TOEFL: Paper-based score: 570 (min. 4.5 in TWE). Internet-based score: 80 (min. 20 reading and writing, 18 in speaking and listening
    • IELTS Academic:  6.5 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest)
    • PTE Academic: 64 overall (min. 55 in each of the communicative skills)
    • Cambridge CAE: 176 overall (min.169 in each subtest)
